Welcome Volunteers!

How does it work?
• A person with a need (or who knows someone with a need) posts it to the website.
• A Coach selects the project for completion on a specific day.
• Volunteers sign up for the project on the website.
• Volunteers show up at the project location and serve.

CAUTION!! This could revolutionize your life! Our experience is that:
• Over time, Volunteers become increasingly aware of the needs of others.
• When it comes to identifying those in need and offering them a hand, they have an increasing desire to jump in.

Are you in the game? Volunteers get "in the game" in 2 ways:
• One way to get in is to serve. When you do, you are the "helping hands" to people who need help.
• Another way is to be the "eyes and ears" of people who need help.
• Be on the lookout for those in need, or things that need to be done--we all know someone who could use a little help to get something done.
• When you see a need, take 10 minutes and post it to the website.
Projects never posted, never get done!

How do I register as a Volunteer?
• Click on "Register as a Volunteer" below.
• Fill in the information requested.
• Login as a Member. You'll be taken to your personal NeighborLink Fort Wayne web page.
• To see an active list of projects, go to the "Volunteering" heading, and click on "Available Projects".
• Sign up for a project! You can even offer the use of your tools or other supplies.
